Ever wonder how that
Massachusetts judge
who took your children
away and stripped you
of your house and assets
got to sit on the bench?
All judges were approved,
usually by unanimous,
vote, by the Governors
Council at a public hearing.
The audio for their
hearings over the last
couple of years can be heard here:

URGENT! New Hampshire Public Hearing on so-called 'Domestic Violence' Law, Thursday, Feb. 9

The NH Legislature Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee has decided to hold a second public hearing on Bill 1581. As explained below this bill is a good step in the right direction to change the so-called 'domestic violence' laws. The NH reps. who sponsored the bill need public support at the hearing on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9:45 AM. Please spread the word to NH people and try to attend.

Public hearing on HB Bill 1581

Thursday, 9:45
Room 204, NH State House Legislative Building, 107 Main St., Concord, NH

NH Directions to State House
http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/misc/directions.htm

New Hampshire House Bill 1581, sponsored by Reps. Itse and Lambert, would require a warrant before a domestic abuse order could be issued and restricts the ability of police to make arrests without one. This bill would be a significant step in the right direction not only in NH but for other states as well because of multi-state reciprocity agreements. The bill has already attracted notice in the Massachusetts State House. According to Rep. Itse, however, the bill's provisions on 'domestic violence' warrants will die unless people speak up and make their voices heard. At the first public hearing opponents were out in force and got their views aired on both New Hampshire and on Boston TV stations.

Shared parenting efforts depend on reform and eventual repeal of these draconian 'domestic violence' laws.

It is imperative that people, especially those in New Hampshire, attend the public hearing on Thursday, 9:45 AM.

If you can not attend write the committee members (below) before Thursday let them know how domestic abuse orders are issued without justification and the harm it causes to their family life and to their financial well-being.

If you live in New Hampshire please call and speak directly to the committee members as well. If you live in or near the legislator's district make an appointment to meet them face-to-face. They need to hear directly from their constituents.

Now is the time to act. Tell New Hampshire legislators to make the changes in these onerous 'DV' laws that separate fathers from their children and destroy families.
